Summer Slope Sabotage

Summer at Pineview’s Ski Resort means one thing—SLOPE FEST. The annual summer event draws in visitors from near and far. In the midst of a scorching hot summer, everyone is eager for a small taste of winter. There may not be any snow, but snowboarders and skiers don’t let that stop them. Athletes gather for a downhill contest that is like no other. Of course, the festival also includes a huge party and concert. The event has something to offer for everyone.

This year, Pineview’s very own Gil Lowry has returned to his hometown for the event. Locals are simply atwitter about the professional snowboarder’s presence. Gil’s visit brings more than anyone in town bargained for. Slope Fest is in full swing, and Luna finds herself smack dab in the middle of a shocking new murder investigation. Despite protests from Detective Preston, Luna is on the case. She makes it her official unofficial duty to find the killer.
