Helena Fenster has her reasons for considering her twin sister's audacious plan to switch places at the altar. But she doesn't trust the groom, an utterly charming, utterly unrepentant rake. He says he will allow his wife her freedom once he has an heir. But will he keep his word?


Rand Mallon, Earl of Dalby, is in desperate need of an heir and two weeks away from his wedding day when his fiancee informs him that she intends to jilt him.  He knows Helena doesn't trust him to keep his word. But time is running short. He agrees to the switch with just one demand: Helena must promise not to fall in love with him.
