The Porth Beach Boys

This is the true story of five boys who grew up in Newquay in Cornwall in the 1930s. At first glance, their childhood appears to be idyllic. Yet behind the smiles, their parents were still fighting the mental trauma of the Great War, leading to an attempted murder which sucks all the boys into its aftermath. They then became the first to go off to fight in the Second World War, and by 1945, they have served in some of the great battles of the war, leaving two of them dead and the remaining three changed forever.
