When a potentially career ending injury sends hockey player JP home after surgery, he's not sure how warm his welcome might be. He hasn't really spoken to his husband for three years, and he wouldn't blame Ian for never wanting to see him again.

Ian couldn't handle picking up and leaving his home in Canada when JP was traded to Florida, not when he had infant twins to take care of and JP was never around to help, even if he has provided for them in a big way over the years. But JP needs him now, and he still loves the man, so Ian won't turn him away.

Recovery means JP has time to get to know the kids Ian has been raising alone, and to try to find a way back into Ian's life, as well. Will they be able to recapture the love they had for each other? And what happens if JP heals enough to go back to his other love - hockey?
