Descripción editorial

The heroine of the story is a young girl on her way to become the best ballet dancer in the world and even though that's a good thing, and she should be happy about it, she is not. In fact, the ballerina has been sad for quite a while now and no one knows why or what they can do about it.

All this is about to change when she meets someone unexpectedly. This someone is a little boy, younger than she is. He is courageous and happy, even though he is poor and has to take care of his younger brothers.

To the parent:

This book was written for children aged 8 and up.

It is a little bit about the beauty of the arts, specifically ballet and classic music, but it is mostly about allowing the child to see empathy and compassion at work. It is also about friendship, courage, and getting over sadness by doing good deeds.

There is a comically created monster in the story to represent the little boy's bad fortune. We gave him a funny look and voice.

This ibook is musical, animated and narrated by a professional voice actress.
