The Star of Bailly School

The students at Bailly School were planning their Christmas program, and everyone was looking forward to seeing Old Saint Nick before having a few days off from their schoolwork. After decorating the school’s Christmas tree, Beverly Jean announced to everyone they needed a new star for their tree or a real live baby for Jesus.

Foremost on Olivia’s mind was the arrival of her baby due any day. She wondered if it would be a boy or a girl and if it would be a Christmas baby as Jesus was.
