The Stylist's Surrender

He's pined over her for years. She's completely oblivious.

Pete Moore has a secret. For as long as he's been the cook at the Hummingbird Diner, he's loved Charlene Stephens. But while he's perfecting his braised oxtail recipe to win her heart, the pretty hairdresser only sees him as a reliable friend.

Pete's content to wait on God's timing... until a storm knocks out the phone lines and sends his family crashing into his life. They're staging an "intervention" with his ex-girlfriend in tow.

Now his meddling mother is about to force their "just friends" status into a very public—and very fake—romance.

Charlene wants to help her friend. But faking a relationship means extra close encounters with her "boyfriend." She isn't prepared for the jolt of electricity when she holds Pete's hand, or for the way he looks at her, making the "performance" feel a little too real.

Join the members of Idlewood as the matchmaking pool heats up and discover that when you surrender your plans to the Creator, He provides a love that's better than anything you could've cooked up yourself.
