Tomato
Descripción editorial
A woman goes to a nursery for heirloom tomatoes. Cherokee Black. Aunt Ruby’s green or Brandywines. Tom only has hybrids and tries to sell her a yellow hybrid with a shelf life of two weeks.
The woman will have nothing to do with it. She wants an old standby that is picked in the morning and eaten at lunch.
Tom thinks she fell from the back of the turnip truck more than once.
