What’s a tired and hungry magic clown supposed to do when his favorite pizza place gets blown up, the ghost of a dead guy gets stuck in his van, the dead guy’s ex-wife-with-surprise-supernatural-powers ends up in the van, then a spooky witch hitches a ride and sends the van into an alternate dimension where everything is dark and nasty and smells bad, too?
Put the pedal to the metal and drive faster.
Because all the bad things from the dark, nasty places are coming for Hilario the Clown. And he has no idea why.
It’s the road trip from heck, because the answers aren’t going to find themselves.
If Hilario is going to survive–and he’d really, really like to–he has to unravel the mystery. And fast. Because the Lords of the Dark Places have something big planned. And it’s coming when dawn’s light hits his home city in the normal world.
