Video Night

It's the fall of 1988 and two best friends—one departing for college, one destined for a bad boy townie life at home—decide to have a final video night before their friendship changes forever. It's the perfect night for Billy and Tom. They've got pizza and beer, and Tom even managed to convince his girlfriend, Darcy, to bring a friend, Billy's neighbor and crush, Rachel. But what they don't know is that there's an invasion underway, and they're going to need their wits and each other to survive the night.

Across the street, Rachel's sister, Rhonda, was one of the first to turn. A slithering, chitinous evil has taken over her body and her mind, and she'll do everything to make more of her kind. Slowly, the whole town is taken over by these murderous alien beings, but the teens do not go down easy. Blood, sex, rock and roll, and invaders from outer space infuse this cult classic with plenty of nostalgia while taking a serious look at male teen friendship.
