Within Reach

Within Reach is a soft science fiction novel about an amateur writer and stigmatist who narrowly escapes being killed in a mass shooting, defying incredible odds. He unwillingly amasses a group of followers who look up to him as a spiritual leader. He loses control over his life's narrative and struggles to regain it only to discover himself ascending to an even more profound role than he had expected but at a terrible cost.
