I signed up for the charity Write-a-Cowboy email pen pal program to pass the lonely night hours and stop dwelling on how much having Maverick living right next door drives me crazy.
Unlike him, my anonymous cowboy is thoughtful, funny and knows the right words to say when I need encouragement. I find myself telling this stranger things I’ve never shared with anyone.
I’m falling for him and looking forward to the day of the identity reveal when I get to tell him exactly how I feel.
