Publisher Description
Interesting just to see how wordy and subjective thoughts on language once were. Although this is actually a pretty objective quick phonology lesson. The shortest section, teaching the deaf to speak, recommends a more humane, positive-reinforcement approach than the ruler-wielding catholic nuns did in the 50s and 60s. Not that there is a big demand for "oralism" in the Deaf community right now anyway.
