Wisdom of the East Buddhist Psalms

This volume published in 1921 is a collection of Buddhist psalms written by Shinran Shōnin, thirteenth-century Buddhist monk and founder of Japan’s Jōdo Shinshū sect. The psalms were translated from the Japanese by S. Yamabe and L. Adams Beck, who also contributes an introduction.
