48 Weeks

48 Weeks is about a young rapper who feels trapped in the system but only wants the best for his family. Rell has to make a big decision of what’s really important to him in life. Realizing that his dad was never coming back, Rell decided it was time to up his game. Rell and his friends get a group together called “FSG”. FSG is a group devoted to saving money together using a system in hopes of providing a better life. Meanwhile Rell decides which path he wants to pursue. He reaches a point in his life where he felt he was good enough to approach his dream girl. This dream girl is Draya, a girl he’s been chasing since the day he met her. Juggling the streets, family, love and music. Rell has some crazy events in store for him. What does he want more in life? To please others or to go for his own dreams. Or is there a balance that can be reached? To reach success sacrifice is inevitable and he knows that. How he deals with that will be a big factor determining the outcome. Meeting new people along his journey, this has to be one of the greatest stories in Urban American History. From being a tough guy, fighting his demons, realizing his own insecurities to being an emotional wreck deep inside of his heart. Rell is faced with many things through these 48 weeks. A lot goes right for the young rapper and a lot goes wrong.
