BATTLES AND LEADERS OF THE CIVIL WAR, VOL. 2

This is Volume 2 of a 4 volume set published in 1887.  Scribners and The Century Company ran a series of magazine articles in which participants in the Civil War related their experiences during the conflict.  The series was so popular that the articles were released combined into this 4 Volume set.  In this 750 page volume there are 84 chapters and hundreds of images.  This electronic version contains 100% of the above with the ease of “flowing, resizable text” (and is 4+ pounds lighter!)  I have added many definitions pertinent to the 19th century.
