Characters Live

Have you ever read a character in a story that you wished you could act out? Some of us love reciting lines from certain movies or books and, in essence, playing that role, but few things compare to performing a lengthy monologue that offers the opportunity to pretend to be that “person” for a while.

The monologues found in Characters Live were written especially for this purpose. The characters appear in several stories that involve varying situations, conflicts, and stakes. One protecting secrets, one demanding answers, one who can't remember, one who wants justice, one who should have died.

These monologues not only give you the opportunity to pretend to be them, they also give these characters a chance to give more insight into themselves and their circumstances. These monologues each allow a performer to demonstrate depth and range in approximately 3 minutes.
