Clary Mae Watson wanted to see her brother’s killer brought to justice. Determined to find an eye witness to the crime, she kept butting heads with the Marshal, Lukey Boyd Haskins. Luke would rather she returned home and left the murder investigation to him, but she surprised him by taking a teaching position for the one-room school in town.
