When Farah Khalil's position of undisputed high school queen is challenged in her senior year by the arrival of a new student, Rachel Cohen, the result is a fierce and multifarious rivalry between the two temperamental teens. As neither of the two young, headstrong belles is willing to take a back seat to the other, it eventually becomes clear that there is only one way the matter can be resolved. The inevitable physical confrontation is suddenly increased in scale when the aspiring queen bees' equally gorgeous and feisty mothers unexpectedly show up, ready to enter the fray. With the resurfacing of old grudges and hatreds born out of personal history, an all-out war erupts, fuelled by a great deal of pride and mutual loathing with some ethnic tension thrown in for good measure.
