Descripción editorial
Appellant, Fern Palfy, contends that she was wrongfully deprived of her day in court when the superior court directed a verdict in favor of the appellee, The First Bank of Valdez. The superior court judgment from which this appeal was taken is based upon a finding of res judicata or collateral estoppel. Because the lower courts judgment seems to have been, to some extent, the product of confusion as to the background of this case, a careful review of the facts will greatly advance a resolution of the problems raised on appeal.
