First National Bank New Castle v. Howard

The First National Bank of New Castle, Indiana (bank) appeals the verdict awarding Howard Acra (Acra) $100,000 of compensatory damages and $100,000 of punitive damages in his counterclaim against the bank. The bank initiated this action against Acra and Phyllis Acra (Phyllis) to collect on a note. Phylliss motion for judgment on the evidence was granted during the course of the trial.
