Descripción editorial

This is a review of a decision of the court of appeals affirming the judgment of the circuit court for Waukesha county, Hon. JOHN P. BUCKLEY, presiding. The judgment dismissed the amended complaint of the plaintiff-appellant-petitioner, Foerster, Incorporated, holding that it was not a "dealership" as defined in sec. 135.02(2), Stats., and, thus, not entitled to the protections of the Wisconsin Fair Dealership Law when the defendant-respondent, Atlas Metal Parts Company, terminated the existing "Sales Agreement." The appellate court affirmed holding that the conduct of Foerster, Inc., in representing Atlas as a manufacturers representative did not come within the purview of the definition of "dealership" (sec. 135.02(2), Stats.).
