After graduating from the University of Wisconsin in Madison with a marketing degree in 1994, Jacky Tai headed the marketing department of several start-ups in United States and then Singapore. He then joined IE Singapore (the government agency tasked with helping Singapore companies internationalise more successfully) in 2004 as its branding manager where he advised over 2,000 companies on branding and naming strategies. He joined StrategiCom – The B2B Branding Specialist in 2007 as a Principal Consultant where he was involved in various naming projects. Jacky has authored three other books – Transforming Your Business Into A Brand, Great Asian Brands: Tiger Beer and Killer Differentiators. Jacky believes that successful brands are built on the back of the right branding strategies and its proper execution; and he continues to work with clients to achieve that.
