An old lover, a new danger, and borrowed time to solve it all.

Mat Farrell is recuperating from an injury and is currently on leave when he stumbles onto what could be a child trafficking ring. Sticking around to see if he's right and needs to call in Tungsten Protective Services, he will first, need to get some assistance from a woman in his past. It takes some convincing but she agrees to help him.

Sheri Rysk never thought she'd see Mat again, so when he shows up, she faces him with a mixture of emotions. While they are checking out his hunch, their past ignites once more bringing them into a world of passion and desire.

When the situation boils over, Sheri's decision leaves Mat with the gut-wrenching fear he may never have the chance to hold her again. Will he get her back in his life?
