How to make Wildlife Films

Robert Waldron has written and directed over fifty broadcast scripts, primarily in the wildlife  and natural history genre, with a number of scripts in the social anthropology, paleo-anthropology, and human rights arenas. As a director and writer, his films have won numerous awards at festivals worldwide. His films have also been screened on other major channels globally, including National Geographic Channel, Discovery and Animal Planet. His films have been broadcast in over twenty countries worldwide, and been translated into over a dozen languages.


Robert is also a published author, and his novels Walk in the Cool (African adventure), Alien Vets and Dirty Lightspeed (science fiction), The Flower Bath Horror ( Horror/Thriller) and Stories from the Wild :-Re-Learning Wisdom we have Forgotten (Motivation/Autobiographical)  are available through outlets in over 17 countries, or online as e-Books via Amazon, Kindle  and iBooks. Robert has filmed wildlife and natural history across the planet, from Iberian lynxes in Portugal and Spain, to wolves in Yellowstone, wolves in Germany, cheetahs and leopards in Namibia, lions and elephants in Botswana, and a vast diversity of wildlife and habitats throughout southern Africa. The release of his new 234  page non-fiction book, How to Make Wildlife Films: The Handbook, is crammed with technical and anecdotal detail, as well as a vast selection of video links and tutorials.
