Knight Of No Return

Gudday - I'm Vincent Knight, and this is my story. It’s not every day a guy gets a whole book written about him, but here it is. It's no War and Peace, but so what? I'd never be able to get though such an enormous tome, anyway! Sorry, I'm getting off the point a bit. I've been told 'keep it short and simple, and no swearing!

So what's this story about? Well, to put it short and simply – it’s all about me! It starts off with me in English, snapping another kid in the head with a rubber band. Of course I got kicked out of class, but so what? It was a hell of a shot! Anyway, I went down to the oval to watch some guys play sport, and that was when I first realised that something was wrong with me. My best mate Russel and me got into a rumble, and I found I liked rolling around on the grass with him. Only it didn't bother me at the time because I thought I was on a power kick.

But things got worse after Russ arranged a date for me with some sheila named Shellie. She looked just like my brother's girlfriend Deirdre, who I couldn't stand. At the movies Russ and his girl Danni smooched on like there was no tomorrow, but I couldn't bring myself to make out with Shellie like that. At the time I thought it was just because she looked like Deirdre.

Nothing could've been further from the truth, let me tell you!

Then all four of us went for a drive up to the Blue Mountains. When Russ and Danni started getting it on in the back, I was left with Shellie, who was probably waiting for the Earth to move or something. Man, that was the worst night of my life! The only part I enjoyed was watching Russ's naked backside moving up and down! When I realised what I was doing, I jumped out the car and threw up.

I was so upset. I got drunk and stoned and tried to blame everything on what ever I was on at the time. Then I went to a rock concert with Sean, a guy I met while we were helping Deirdre move. We had a great time - till he started feeling me up. To say the least I freaked and split. Deep down I wanted him to keep touching me.

I was terrified. I’d been brought up to fear and hate gays – how could I possibly be one myself? How could I possibly learn to accept and live with myself?

I can’t tell you everything here – read on and find out the truth for yourself. It’s a great story with lots of funny bits, but be warned – I’m not one to pull my punches. It has lots of drugs, swearing, violence and rude bits in it too.
