Lookout Falls

New York Times bestseller Allison Brennan’s next standalone follows a family facing violent criminals out for revenge in a chase across the Montana wilderness

Ten years ago, Wyatt Butler made a series of mistakes, but the worst was becoming friends with David and Andy. The two convinced Wyatt to help them rob stores in LA, but what Wyatt thought would be a harmless robbery resulted in the murder of a security guard. Disgusted, Wyatt turned the two in and walked away from that life for good. With nowhere and no one to turn to, Wyatt headed to Stony Hill Outfitters, a family owned ranch in Montana.

Wyatt’s been at peace for years working on the ranch. He’s fallen in love with Sam and become close with the O’Reilly family, the owners. But when he learns that David and Andy have been released, he dumps Sam and abruptly leaves the ranch at the end of the season.

Sam is sure there’s more to the story and is determined to uncover the real reason Wyatt broke up with her. With her brother, Joey, and a couple of friends, she backpacks through the Flathead National Forest with Stony Hill--and Wyatt--as their destination.

They run into David and Andy in the woods, who claim to be lost, but Sam’s wary of them. She learns of their plan to follow them to the ranch to exact revenge on Wyatt. Soon, they’re racing through the Montana wilderness to save Wyatt and the O’Reilly family before it’s too late.
