Mastering Secondary School Mathematics

My goal for writing this book is not to make the many excellent secondary school Mathematics textbooks that are currently available redundant. Rather, my goal is to create clarity and ignite a passion for Mathematics in secondary school students, thereby bringing these books to life for them. My sincere desire is to demonstrate the undeniable beauty and simplicity of Mathematics and its applications to the world we experience around us.

This book explores and explains in detail the most basic and simple branch of Mathematics known as ‘Arithmetic’. Based on the elementary number systems, Arithmetic is the process of counting, adding and multiplying numbers.



Within the book, I will be introducing the concepts of basic Algebra and the first steps to Geometry. The aim of this book is to provide a program that will lead us to the most direct route to mastering secondary school mathematics for students, parents and teachers.



This mastering process involves developing an in-depth understanding of the foundations of secondary school Mathematics in the form of the elementary number systems of mathematics that we began learning in primary school. By studying this book, students will achieve benefits not only in secondary school Mathematics, but in other secondary school subjects as well.



The process presented in this book differs from a typical secondary school Mathematics syllabus that has the primary objective of covering a broad range of mathematical concepts and techniques with the aim of giving the student the necessary background to be able to apply Mathematics to whatever other discipline they may be interested in.
