Victoria English's world is crashing down around her. Jonathan promised her sweetness and roses while he was courting her. Marriage to him was a bitter reality. Five years after Jonathan went missing and was presumed dead at the Battle of Tullahoma, a shell of a man is back. If anyone thinks she's going to give up being the sheriff of Tonica and once more be Jonathan's meek little wife, they have another think coming.
