The story presents a race between a train and a team of cyclists who get their energy from perpetual motion food and the exploits of a Supermale who happens to be capable of miraculous feats of endurance and sexual athleticism.

“Supermale” was the last novel written by Alfred Jarry. The book was translated into English language by Barbara Wright in 1968.
