Rabbits Running Rife Rabbits Running Rife

Descripción editorial

Mitchell and Eliza owned their own little bit of paradise. They worked hard to take care of their farm and made it a very profitable place. Like most farmers, feral animals were always a concern for Mitchell and Eliza. They knew that it was very important to control them…especially after their crops get eaten by rabbits!

In 2015, the Feral Animals Enviro-Stories program provided kids from central New South Wales, Australia, with the opportunity to write and illustrate stories about feral animals and their impacts on both biodiversity and agriculture. Schools were supported by technical staff from local organisations to help them learn about their feral animals. This project has resulted in ten books being published, printed and distributed as well as interactive books developed. This book was prepared by students from Cowra Public School with support from Central Tablelands Local Land Services and Invasive Animals CRC.
