Negating this rakshasa philosophy of greed, blind exploitation of natural resources, imperialism, and terrorism, this novel maps the journey of prince Rama. Pivoting on the four corners of the day represented by Ahalya, Sita, Tara and Trijata, and four corners of the night represented by Vashistha, Dasratha, Indra and Ravana, this paean has mesmerising insights into many mythical and fictitious fringe characters whose interactions with Rama form his path to divinity.
