Stories of an Adoption: Billy and Sam Find a New Mum and Dad

Billy and Sam live with their foster family and their social worker is looking for a new mum and dad for them.  This is a story to help children to think about themselves moving on to a new family.  It is designed to be read to children by their foster carer or social worker, starting the discussions about the practicalities of the move and the feelings children might have.


This book is beautifully illustrated by Gary, who draws with an open and modern style.  The story is written by Heather who is an adopter and a child clinical psychologist.  There is another book in the pipeline, describing the experiences of the adopters.
