T-Shirt of a Happy Person

Once upon a time there lived a king who was very sad. None of his possessions made him happy. 


One day, while he was sitting by the window of his palace, he saw a poor man pass by. 


He asked his guards for the man to be brought to him. This man was wearing an old shirt with patches. Despite his poverty, the man looked very happy.


The king observed him asked, "Are you happy with that old shirt with patches?" 

The poor man answered, "Yes, I am very happy with this t-shirt. In fact, it is my treasure." 


The king ackowledged the man's happiness and said, "I will give you half of my wealth in exchange for your shirt." The poor man answered, "This T-shirt is my happiness and I won't exchange it for all the gold in the the world!" 


Then the king asked the poor man if he could live with him for several days to learn more about the man's unfamiliar world. They began on an adventure of learning. Thanks to their time together, the king new with certainty what gave so much happiness to this poor man.


From then on, the king realized that money gives peace but not happiness and that is when he became aware that MONEY IS NOT HAPPINESS.
