That by praying these prayers and by praise and  worship through these hymns and by meditating upon these scriptures of the New Testament, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise.


1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.


For this is the will of God!  That we pray, praise, worship and give thanks without ceasing in all circumstances.  But in these busy and troubled times, not being Saints but ordinary Christians, we find ourselves distracted and drawn into temptation away from God’s presence.  We find it difficult to focus our minds, even for the briefest of moments.  Not unlike the disciples who when left alone in the garden of Gethsemane by Jesus upon his return found them asleep.  Take Time to Be Holy is a tool, on the iPhone (or iPad), that can help draw our attention and focus us on that prayer, hymn or scripture which strengthens our communion with God.  It can help us enter into and maintain lives of prayer that are whole and complete.  Using Take Time to Be Holy invites us to slow down, helping us to develop rich lives of prayer, deepening our connection with God.
