Kerry is a pretty, 20-year-old woman who visits her grandfather every day at a posh retirement home. The old man has a condition that leaves him unable to remember anything from his past. Each day he loses all memories of what happened the previous day. Kerry recounts the family's struggle from its rough and poor beginnings through its triumphs and tragedies each visit using a photo album to regenerate lost memories and attach faces to the names and events.
The next day, the old man's memory is blank and Kerry starts again from the beginning.
The nursing home staff thinks Kerry is the perfect granddaughter, but is she?
