Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809, in Hardin County, Kentucky. He was the 16th president of the United States and is regarded as one of America's greatest heroes due to both his incredible impact on the nation and his unique appeal. He successfully protected the Union during the Civil War in America and brought about the emancipation of slaves.

Unfortunately, his support regarding the policy of quick reunification with a minimum of retribution was not accepted by a radical group of Republicans and he was killed on April 14, 1865, at Ford's Theater in Washington. He was in coma for nine hours and died the next morning.

This book is the biography of Abraham Lincoln which focuses on his youth and him as a president. It is written using interviews of people who knew Lincoln and their account of events.

It is a book that with great cultures value, containing information from first-hand, which makes it even more valuable and more reliable in compare to the other books written about the sixteenth president of the United States.
