Through It All God Has Kept Me

“Happy Mother’s Day,” everyone said with delighted voices. But wait; could I say the same thing to my mommy? No, because where was my mom? On lock down, hundreds of miles away. “Can someone bring my mommy to me, please?!”... “I’m working a double shift. Lock the door. I’ll be home tonight at ten”… “No, leave me alone. I don’t care; get out my room. I hate you and your wife!”… “Hey girl, what are you doing? Do you have some loud [marijuana]? I have a cigar if you want to smoke.”… “Are we going clubbing tonight? The dudes will have stacks of money to put in our thongs tonight, girl. And if the money is right we can probably do some extra activities, you know what I mean?”
“Oh God, what is happening to me? Please save me. Please forgive me, Lord, for being rebellious. I surrender to you, God.”
This miraculous story is about a little girl who grew up to be disobedient and rebellious. Just wild, out of control, and unstoppable, but someone—an almighty man named Jesus—came into her life and created her into what he wanted her to be. He shaped her, pressed down and molded her into a beautiful woman of God who is saving souls and doing the work that God asks of her. This is a miracle that I never thought I would see come to pass, but God is a glorious miracle worker and nothing’s too hard for him. He’s still performing healings and miracles today!
