Vayots Dzor (in English‪)‬

This interactive guide to the Vayots Dzor region of Armenia has been developed in partnership between Armenian Virtual College (AVC) / Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) and My Armenia, a program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Smithsonian Institution. 



This guide is meant to inspire travelers to visit the stunning region of Vayots Dzor and deepen the experience of tourists in the destination by providing rich interpretation of the region’s natural and cultural assets, and providing valuable travel planning information. The information found elsewhere in this guide is put into a simple, interactive map, allowing travelers to conceptualize the region and facilitate travel planning. It was our intention to create the most comprehensive travel resource for the Vayots Dzor regions available, but to present this information in a way that is both visually appealing and simple to navigate.
