Wendy, Where Does Our Wastewater Go? takes students on a fun and informative tour of the wastewater treatment process at their local plant. Wendy and her companions learn where wastewater goes and how it is treated in Washington, DC.

This book is aimed at elementary school students, ages 6 – 10 but can be eye-opening to an array of students and parents, too. Educators can use this resource to add a new twist to environmental holidays as well as inform students about how to expand their pollution reduction goals to the collection system and overall health of their local waterways.
