Jane Austen Collection: The Complete Novels (Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Persuasion...‪)‬

Some good voices, some mediocre

Austen is always a great idea, and an audio book of Austen’s work is just the thing when on the go.
However, this recording(s) lack in consistency. Some voices are very good and clearly professionals, others are amateurs.
I was particularly put out by the one narrating Emma, as she does not articulate anything clearly, eats all the words, making it very difficult to understand most of what she says.
Another issue is the lack of written indication on the tracks of where begins which book. One must guess based on the length of recording when one ends, and click to find out which book, then click further until finding the one searched for.
