By order of April 29, 1996, the applications for leave to appeal were held in abeyance pending the decision in Travis v Dreis & Krump Manufacturing Co (Docket No. 101028), and Golec v Metal Exchange Corp (Docket No. 102147). On order of the Court, the decision having been issued on July 31, 1996, 453 Mich. 149, 551 N.W.2d 132 (1996), the applications are again considered, and, pursuant to MCR 7.302(F)(1), in lieu of grant leave to appeal, we REMAND the cases to the Court of Appeals for reconsideration in light of Travis v Dreis & Krump Manufacturing Co, and Golec v Metal Exchange Corp. The motion to file an amicus brief by American Manufacturers Mutual Insurance Co is GRANTED.
