Publisher Description
In this slip and fall action, the defendant, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., ("Wal-Mart") appeals the trial courts judgment awarding the plaintiff, Darlene OBrien, damages for injuries sustained after she slipped while shopping on defendants premises. Finding that the plaintiff failed to meet the burden of proof required by LSA-R.S. 9:2800.6, we reverse the trial courts judgment and dismiss the plaintiffs claims against the defendant.
