Alfa Life Insurance Corp. v. Johnson

Mary Edwards McLendon petitions this Court for a writ of mandamus, directing Probate Judge Albert Howard to transfer this action to the Russell Circuit Court and to desist from exercising further jurisdiction in the matter of the estate of James Homer Edwards, deceased. She also petitions for a writ of mandamus directing Judge Albert L. Johnson to vacate his order denying McLendons petition for removal of the cause from the Russell Probate Court to the Russell Circuit Court. We grant the petition.
