OPINION No. 5672 I. INTRODUCTION The superior court held the Board of Trustees of the Anchorage Police & Fire Retirement System in indirect criminal contempt for violating a court order that approved a class action settlement. Indirect criminal contempt requires finding beyond a reasonable doubt that the respondent violated an order willfully. Because the superior court found that the system willfully violated the court's order, because we conclude that the evidence supports that finding and that the order was unambiguous, and because we also conclude that there is no indication the superior court applied the wrong standard of proof, we affirm.
