About the Author



Katie Byrd is a wife and a mother of three children, three dogs, a cat and a rabbit. She is also a graphic design teacher, a pilot, and an author.

This book was born during quarantine, a time of chaos, confusion and more time at home than she has experienced in twenty years. When she's not teaching, flying, or writing, she is spending time with her family, which includes her biggest fan, Emmet.



Nhan Le, originally from Vietnam, moved to the United States when he was eight years old. His passion for drawing has now led him to pursue a B.A. in Graphic Design at Young Harris College. In his free time he likes to go to the beach, go fishing, and play with puppies.
