FBI agent Evan's life has been upended more than once. Even though she hasn't been home in years, when her sister's twins need her, she comes running. Because that's what family does, even if it threatens to reveal the secrets she hid so long ago. 

Home is supposed to be where the heart is, and local cop Max had been that for Evan, nearly twenty years ago. Before she ghosted him and buried everything they had.

Now Evan and Max are working the Huntsman case, where a serial killer is targeting young women - like the twins. It's hitting close to home and if they don't share their secrets, they might lose everything.
