Beathune v. Cain

Plaintiff Cain brought this action against the defendants Beathune and Holder to recover on a promissory note. Trial was to a jury. At the close of plaintiffs evidence, the defendants rested, and the trial court directed a verdict in favor of the plaintiff and against both defendants. Beathune, appearing here as the plaintiff in error, seeks reversal of the judgment. The defendant Holder has not entered an appearance herein.
