I take it that most everyone will agree that there is a strong presumption that a baby is better off with its natural mother; that such presumption must be overcome only by clear and convincing evidence; that even though a written consent is given by her, it is revocable under certain circumstances; that a pregnancy experienced by a single woman generally is fraught with emotional upset, fear of social consequences, economic problems and unusual reactions that make a woman under such circumstances subject to unusual pressures.
