Publisher Description
In 1959 the Nypenns nudist camp in Pennsylvania was a popular resort for sunbathers and people seeking nude recreation. There was a proposed nudist site in Groton, New York that was blocked by a law that was passed in 1935. My e-book looks at nudism in the middle of the twentieth century and before. In one case a nudist sunbather lost her job as a music teacher after police converged on a private beach in Monroe, Michigan. The teacher was fired following repercussions that resulted from publicity accompanying the incident. The piano teacher eventually sued for $40,000 in damages.
